For the Holiday Inn Express in Lustenau, a place with a special quality of stay, we worked as general contractor realising the furniture, fixtures & equipment (FF&E) for 136 rooms and the entire public area. After showcasing the showrooms in October 2020, the Lustenau site opened at the end of July. This was made possible by our swinging production: Thanks to our variable shift and process system, we can achieve this express implementation in the tightest of time windows.

The interior design concept was implemented in detail by Tenbrink according to the specifications of Kitzig Interior Design. This is where the “Next Generation Public Space/Lobby” design came into play, representing a significant change for the traditional open-plan design at Holiday Inn Express. In this property, the lobby area is designed so that guests can spontaneously use the space for whatever they personally need it for, depending on the time of day or occasion. At the heart of this new design concept is a greatly elevated food and beverage counter. Natural wood provides cosy warmth in the otherwise rather cool concept. Strong accent colours are also skilfully used on cushions, small pieces of furniture and accessories such as wardrobes.
