FROM CHURCH BANK TO GENERAL CONTRACTOR
Our story begins in the heart of Stadtlohn. It was Josef Tenbrink, a master carpenter, who founded his company over 90 years ago. With his carpentry of pews, he laid the foundation stone for what makes us stand out to this day: After all, it is no surprise that after years of growth, whoever was able to furnish the most important building in the city with the most important piece of furniture, over 90 years ago, is now able to realise major projects all over the world as a general contractor.
Doing needs courage – it did then and it does now. We regularly put it to the test in most of the highly complex projects. We are doers; more than that, we are enablers. When it gets really complicated, we are really good! We have the courage to think big. And yet we don’t get carried away. After all, we come from Münsterland.
To this day, Tenbrink is a safe bank when it comes to big projects. Whether it’s Motel One, WMF or catering at Frankfurt stadium – demanding expansion projects, renovations during ongoing operations and coordinating all trades as the general contractor are what we do best. Our absolute commitment to time and budget makes us successful in the market – nationally and internationally.
There is a constant value that has carried us through the years: trust. Trust of the entrepreneurial family in its employees and vice versa. Trust in the relationships with our clients as well as with trades and network partners. And above all, trust in our skills and expertise – which is proved over and over again every time we take on a project.
Now in its fourth generation, Annabell Tenbrink is one taking her great-grandfather’s courage and entrepreneurial spirit into the future. Together with her husband Frank Wessels, Dieter Peters and Markus Böckmenn, she is responsible for the strategic management of the company. Tenbrink is not only a family-run business, it’s also a familial enterprise: Our approximately 160 employees share our values as well as their workplace. Only together can we be strong. And for each one of us, it’s our heart and soul that sets us apart.
