The Novotel Luxembourg Kirchberg combines modern design with high functionality and a lived commitment to sustainability. Just a few steps from the Court of Justice of the European Union, the entire hotel was comprehensively modernized in an impressively short timeframe. As general contractor, Tenbrink was responsible for the complete renovation of all guest rooms, corridors, and public areas.
A special focus was placed on refurbishing the 260 rooms. Integrating the desk as a window element was a remarkable technical achievement, combining design, sound insulation, thermal insulation, and fire protection into one harmonious unit. Every room stands out for the highest level of precision and a clear design language.
Another highlight of the project is the restaurant “Junco”. With warm tones, authentic materials, and Mediterranean accents, it has become an inviting place to linger. Sustainability also played a central role. All installed luminaires are energy-efficient, and the furnishings and materials were selected and disposed of in a resource-conserving manner.
Delivering such a comprehensive modernization while the hotel remained in operation required the highest levels of precision, flexibility, and speed. The result is a hotel that perfectly brings together design, comfort, and sustainability.
