On Norderney, the more than 100-year-old apartment house Meeresburg has been transformed into a modern retreat full of character. Nestled in the dunes with sweeping views of the sea.

22 individual apartments, each with a reimagined floor plan. High-quality wall paneling, custom-made furniture, and atmospheric lighting elements come together in perfect harmony. Every detail was carefully planned, crafted, and installed with great attention.

The renovation was marked by complex logistics, a tight schedule, and many surprises hidden within the old structure—such as reed in the plaster or crumbling walls.

Our Tenbrink team took on the role of general contractor, managing the complete execution planning, coordination, interior finishing, and project management. Supported by local craftsmen, with experience and passion.
