With the new VIP area “Le Chef”, guests of SV Werder Bremen at the Weserstadion enjoy a matchday experience that goes far beyond a stadium visit. The area is named after Johan Micoud, who made history on the pitch as “Le Chef”: calm, composed and full of class. These very qualities were intended to shape the new hospitality area as well.
Covering around 210 m² with 92 seats, GKAD Architekten designed a VIP area that spatially reflects the character of “Le Chef” and makes the club’s identity visible. Club logos integrated into the tabletops, graphic elements centred around “Le Chef” and a carefully conceived gastronomic area create an atmosphere that combines football history and hospitality in a special way.
Following the Platinum VIP area and the Weserlounge, we were able to continue our story at the Weserstadion with “Le Chef”. Our scope of work included the complete interior fit out, including high quality counters and kitchen technology, as well as extensive electrical works. The particular challenge lay in the short timeframe, as only the summer break was available for the full implementation. Thanks to precise planning and our in house production, we were able to make successful use of this period before kick off.
With “Le Chef”, a space has been created that captures the memory of Johan Micoud’s style of play and brings his calmness and class to life within the hospitality area.
